ABOUT ELISKA Many of my clients are women entering their 40s & 50s, that have had changes in lifestyle and body shape and it has affected their sense of style. As our personalities and lifestyles evolve, so does our sense of style. It's perfectly normal to realize that our style may have shifted over time. Remember, many people experience this more often than you might imagine! Some have struggled with weight fluctuations, leading to confusion about dressing their new figure. Additionally, the vast array of shopping options and barrage of influencers can be overwhelming, mirroring the chaos in their closets. Whatever reason a client has decided to enlist my help, my main priority is to help them dress in a way that aligns with their personality and in turn, makes them feel confident; because confidence is the cornerstone to great style. I help my clients figure out their body type and personal so they become masters at choosing clothes that fit and flatter them – both externally and internally. One of the most rewarding aspects of my job is witnessing a client emerge from the changing room wearing an outfit they wouldn't have selected on their own, sporting a radiant smile. The joy comes from them feeling and looking absolutely fantastic. Clothes don’t just change the way others see you, they change the way you see yourself. One client told me that she wanted to look and feel sexier. As I explored this further she wasn’t wanting to dress in a revealing way she was want to feel strong and confident. So we settled on the term "sassy" and I helped her find items and put together outfits in a way that addressed this. Now, when I see her, she exudes confidence and sass as she evidently feels amazing in her new wardrobe. I helped bring out what was already inside her. For me getting ready each day and displaying my personal style is a form of self-care, requiring maintenance similar to dedicating time to the gym or hiring a personal trainer. Just as we invest in our physical well-being, it's essential to allocate time, consideration, and resources to our clothing choices. The confidence and sense of being put-together that comes from dressing stylishly are as vital as feeling physically healthy and strong. Looking good enhances how we feel, leading to positive actions. |
